when the Charter was ratified. She went on be elected to the Australian
Senate in 2004 and to lead the Australian Greens in 2012 until her
retirement in 2015. Her achievements include gun law reform, gay law

Australia legislating its ground breaking Clean Energy Package in 2012.
Christine served as Global Vice President of IUCN between 2004-2008.

* This Webinar will be *Helping Green women to be more effective and
confident in politics and community activism was the main reason I wrote,
'An Activist Life'. There are many experiences which are common across
different cultures and political systems. How can we benefit more from one
another’s experience and expertise? What does it mean to be the Global
Greens Ambassador? How can we, as a Global Greens Party, make more use of
the role particularly in our region?
